Porsche 911 GTS Hybrid wins 2025 World Performance Car of the Year - and costs far more in Portugal

The new Porsche 911 GTS Hybrid is the first electrified 911 in the model’s history - and, even if some purists see it as heresy, it has proved it still sets the standard among performance cars. It has just taken the 2025 World Performance Car of the Year award at the World Car Awards.

Porsche 911 GTS Hybrid: performance and price in Portugal

The performance of this electrified version speaks for itself - 0–100 km/h takes just 3.0s with the optional Lightweight package - but the Porsche 911 GTS price in Portugal may come as a jolt: 218 610 euros. That is a long way from the 183 682 euros asked for the entry-level version. As if anyone could buy a Porsche without diving into the options list…

Price comparison: Spain vs Germany

Across the border in Spain, the very same model starts at 203 686 euros, which is a gap of almost 15 thousand euros.

If you go as far as Germany, the home market of the Stuttgart-based brand, the difference to Portugal becomes even more striking: there, the Porsche 911 GTS costs 175 500 euros - 43 thousand euros less than in Portugal.

What the difference buys you

In other words, the money left over would be enough to buy one of the 50 Porsche models listed on PiscaPisca.pt on Razão Automóvel. To be precise, it is not 50 models - it is 51. Every Porsche counts…

The takeaway? The Porsche 911 may be a global car, but its pricing is anything but consistent - just like taxation, which varies hugely from country to country. They say dreaming is free, but in Portugal even that ends up costing more.
