Up to 500 kW charging is supported only by Cybertruck

Tesla has brought four next-generation V4 Supercharger sites online in the US, with equipment capable of delivering up to 500 kW.

Where the new V4 Superchargers have opened

The new locations are in Kissimmee (Florida), Gatlinburg (Tennessee), Taylorsville (Utah) and Redwood City (California), and two of these sites have launched within just the past few weeks.

Giga New York switches to V4-only production

At the same time, the company has adjusted its manufacturing approach: the Giga New York plant has now moved entirely to producing V4 equipment only. As a result, ultra-fast charging sites should start rolling out rapidly across the country in the near future.

500 kW vs 250 kW: model support

Even so, the top output is not yet available to every vehicle. Charging at up to 500 kW is supported only by Cybertruck, while other Tesla models remain limited to roughly 250 kW-similar to what is available at existing stations.
